To meet this requirement, there has been unprecedented action in the rural fraternity to bring together those looking for work or to volunteer together with employers and business looking for help.
Locally, Menter Môn have launched an Agri-Support system where you can register as a volunteer to help those businesses who are in need of support. Lantra, one of the national leading awarding bodies for land-based industries in the UK have also created a skill matching service for furloughed individuals or those looking for work. This service will put industries and potential employees with the relevant skills and experience in touch with each other within Scotland and Wales.
To join the skills matching services as an individual looking for work or as a business seeking employees you will need to complete a questionnaire confirming the skillset of the individual or as the employer confirming the staffing requirements.
