It has been a very challenging few months – a wet winter replaced by a cold spring, with North Westerly winds transforming a water logged ground into concrete hard surfaces. Then the end of May led to a spell of scorching temperatures, with many landowners crying out for the wet period we experienced a few weeks earlier!
But possibly, the greatest challenge facing us has been the change of Senedd government in Cardiff. After decades of Labour leadership, it will be Plaid Cymru that will take over the reins, with new party Reform creating a strong challenge leading up to the election.

Can Plaid Cymru save the Welsh Nation?
As with all other parties, many promises were made in the campaign leading up to the election, and to be fair we will have to give Rhun ap Iorwerth and his team time to deliver as it is not going to be a simple task in changing things overnight. Rome was not built in a day!
Here in North Wales, attention is being targeted at refurbishing the National Grid infrastructure between the sub stations in Pentir and Trawsfynydd. We as a company are also deeply involved in surveying work to establish the possibility of bringing a new offshore supply in at Dinas Dinlle, and then under grounding the supply to join the substation at Pentir. It is early days at the moment, but we have been instructed by several clients to act on their behalf, and ensure that if the project bears fruit, that the impact it will have on their businesses will be minimal.
Our recently launched Agency department is going from strength to strength, led by Huw Myfyr Gruffydd, with several properties already sold subject to contract, and further enquiries coming in daily. The market at the moment is very stable, with the main demand being for rural properties accompanied by a few acres of land.
Otherwise, we as a company are very busy assisting clients in all kind of projects, be it assisting in buying/selling a property, advising on renewable energy projects, valuations for all purposes i.e Tax, Probate etc. etc, or preparing compensation claims when utility companies require access onto your property to install new apparatus or maintain their infrastructure.
If we can be of any assistance with any issues arising connected to land or property, then please contact us. We have a qualified team with vast experience and knowledge that would be more than happy to discuss and advise.
