The Baileys and Partners team are delighted to welcome Huw Myfyr to their growing team.
Huw is a seasoned Rural Chartered Surveyor, RICS Registered Valuer and a Fellow of the Central Association of Agricultural Valuers (CAAV). Huw won an award for the highest marks throughout Wales and the West Midlands when he passed his CAAV exams. His expertise and leadership in the field are further demonstrated by his current role as Chairman of the North Wales Association of the CAAV, a position that reflects the high regard in which he is held by his peers.
A native of Waunfawr, Caernarfon, with strong family ties to Ardudwy and Pen Llyn, Huw offers clients unparalleled local insight and a deep connection to the region’s rural landscape. Huw is a former member of the Caernarfon YFC club. Having spent his entire professional career in the area, he brings a wealth of practical experience across a wide spectrum of rural issues.
His areas of specialism include rural property sales and lettings, compensation and compulsory purchase, energy and renewables and estate management. With a strong agricultural foundation – underpinned by a degree in Agriculture and Business Studies, hands-on farming experience and a former role as a livestock auctioneer – Huw combines technical proficiency with a practical, down-to-earth approach that resonates with clients.
Outside of his professional commitments, Huw is married to Megi and enjoys spending time with his young family, singing with a local choir and staying active.
