Following the launch of the energy debate at Energy Now last year, Ed Bailey has been invited to participate in this years debate on the continued growth of the Welsh renewables sector at the Energy Now Expo 2018.
Energy Now takes place this week, 7th & 8th February 2018 at the Telford International Centre, Shropshire. The Energy Now Expo continues to showcase the renewable energy opportunities available to farmers and landowners. Last year the event attracted over 3,200 visitors, the vast majority of which were farmers and landowners interested in generating renewable energy and managing its use more effectively.
The debate itself will take place between 2.30 – 3.30pm on Thursday 8th February. Five panelists, including Ed Bailey and Jennifer Pride, head of the renewable energy team at the Welsh Government will discuss and answer questions on the Welsh rural-renewables sector, the debate will be chaired by Steffan Messenger, the BBC Environment Correspondent. Questions will come from the attendees, who are being encouraged to submit questions through suitable press releases as well as social media channels. The debate will be interactive which will then provide a lively debate, one not to miss!
The best of luck Ed, we know that you will enjoy a good renewables debate!
