It’s our 10 year anniversary!

On 1st November, Baileys and Partners proudly celebrates a significant milestone—our 10-year anniversary. A decade ago, Ed and Helen Bailey laid the foundation for what has now grown into a dynamic and thriving business, providing bespoke land management solutions for clients across a range of sectors. From those early days, Ed and Helen’s vision and dedication have guided us to grow, adapt, and thrive in an ever-changing, fast-paced environment.

Today, we are privileged to have a talented and dedicated team that shares our founders’ passion for excellence. Our colleagues work tirelessly to deliver tailored solutions to our clients, ensuring their needs are met with expertise, precision, and care. Whether it’s navigating complex planning challenges, valuing rural assets, advising on renewable energy projects, or providing strategic rural consultancy, Baileys and Partners consistently delivers high-quality outcomes that make a real difference.

Of course, it hasn’t all been serious work. We’ve enjoyed our fair share of amusing moments along the way. One memorable day involved a team member dropping off documents at a farmhouse, only to be met by a very lively collie dog. In their haste to reach the safety of the porch, they came face to face with a second, equally enthusiastic collie. Animal empathy and negotiation skills certainly came in handy! On another entertaining day, our team was marking out a property boundary when a spray can exploded, covering both the land and the team in yellow paint. Since then, they’ve earned the affectionate nickname, “the team minions.”

We are also thrilled to have recently been awarded a significant contract to deliver land agency services on behalf of Menter Môn for the expansion of the Morlais Tidal Energy Scheme. This project presents an exciting opportunity to continue honing our negotiation, valuation, and renewable energy expertise, while supporting the sustainable development of tidal energy in Wales.

Reflecting on the past 10 years, Helen Bailey says, “I want to sincerely thank our team for their commitment and friendship—without you, none of this would be possible. And to our clients, thank you for entrusting us with your business and your continued support. The exciting projects you bring us certainly keeps us on our toes.”

As we look forward to the next decade and beyond, we are excited about expanding our team, welcoming new talent, and enhancing our service offerings to meet the ever-evolving needs of our clients. Here’s to the next decade and the many stories yet to come!

Jodie, one of our Surveyors at Llanbedr says …

Baileys and Partners is a great team to work for. I joined at the beginning of 2016, and I haven’t looked back. The variety of work we cover is great and the professionalism combined with friendliness is what helps us to retain clients and have word of mouth as our best form of advertising.

Having a small or large part to play in client’s success is the reason we enjoy our jobs, most recently seeing Bala Lake Railway achieve their planning success was great to see, and we are pleased again to have contributed a small part to the journey they are going through to deliver an important development for North Wales.

Helen and Ed should be very proud of their successful business and take a moment on this 10th anniversary to celebrate all that they have achieved.

Tom, our Senior Surveyor at the Anglesey Office says …

Congratulations on this remarkable 10 year anniversary. It’s been inspiring to witness the company’s growth, especially as I’ve had the privilege of building up our Anglesey office over the past three years. The dedication and hard work of our team have truly made an impact across the region. I’m proud to contribute to the reputation and success that the company has established, especially in supporting tenant farmers, land managers and landowners. Here’s to many more years of achievements and growth together.

Bryn, our Graduate Surveyor at the Anglesey Office says …

The two years I’ve been in Baileys has flown by, each day is different and can change quickly. The change from my previous employment was quite daunting, but the support was there so it was all ok.

It’s been a busy couple of years and I’ve had the chance to develop and build on my own interests. My work is mostly based around utilities claims, mapping and valuation reports, with boundary disputes now added to the mix. It’s been great to grow along with the needs of the business and to see new areas of work take off.

Kate, our Project Co-ordinator says …

I joined the team in August last year and have not looked back.  What a great team we are, so friendly and supportive of each other, I consider my colleagues as my extended family!  I like to be organised and follow a routine, but that’s not always possible in this business!  We deal with some very serious transactions for clients and take a pride in delivering the best possible service at all times. We are generously looked after by ‘the bosses’, we had a lovely Summer Day Out at Glasfryn in July and we are all looking forward to our 10 year anniversary celebrations!
