Baileys and Partners are a leading firm of rural chartered surveyors in North Wales where clients can be assured of a bespoke professional service in the land, leisure and energy sectors. The practice has expanded in recent years with a dedicated team in offices at the M-Sparc Science Park, Gaerwen, Anglesey. Tom Hughes leads the office supported by Bryn and Kate. The team support clients across a range of matters from agricultural tenancy renewals to solar park term negotiations. Tom has seen an increase in agricultural tenancy advice, renewed interest in telecoms mast site negotiations, clients requiring advice on succession, planning condition assistance and Inheritance Tax valuation and a buzz on the Island with claims against utility companies.
Here we tell you a little bit more about your Anglesey team. Tom is a fluent Welsh speaker and is a qualified Rural Chartered Surveyor. Tom studied at Harper Adams University and has a breadth of experience working within local authority, rural estate management as well as the utility and infrastructure sector. Thomas is a born and bred farmer and runs his own farming enterprise on Anglesey. Tom is always busy whether in the office or at home; everyone knows Tom and frequently call on him for advice, but there’s always time for a funny story! We have just celebrated Tom’s second anniversary at Baileys and Partners. Congratulations Tom!
Bryn is a Graduate Surveyor working closely with Tom at M-SParc Science Parc in Gaerwen. Bryn graduated from Bangor University with a degree in geography, he then went on to study Rural Enterprise and Land Management at Harper Adams University. Bryn has a wide range of agricultural experience and interests. When not kept busy by his young family he pursues countryside related volunteer roles. Bryn assists Tom with utility compensation claims and has recently taken the mantle of being the team expert on telecommunication mast negotiations. Bryn is a whizz at preparing Land Registry compliant plans, he can be relied on for his positive attitude and work diligence. Bryn has just celebrated his first anniversary with Baileys and Partners.
Kate joined the Anglesey Team at the end of July and is our Project Co-ordinator working with Tom and Bryn at the Anglesey office. She has a wealth of administrative experience having worked previously for a firm of Solicitors, vehicle dealership and latterly a local private estate. She has quickly fallen into the role of supporting the whole team with a host of private client work. Kate has a wide range of interests including caravanning, motorsport and countryside related pursuits. Kate is happiest at her static caravan near Criccieth, sitting in the garden watching the wildlife.
